Mardi Remond's photography embraces her life on the land in outback New South Wales with it's challenges and inherent beauty.  She is instinctively drawn to producing images that illustrate the natural beauty of the world around her.

Mardi lives with her family on their broadacre cropping and grazing property north-west of Walgett, NSW, where they produce cereal crops and legumes as well as beef cattle and rangeland goats.

Mardi's interest in photography came to the fore after travelling through Vietnam, China and Tibet in 2006.  This trip produced disappointing photographic endeavours which inspired her to study a Diploma of Photography (Digital Photography) through the Australian College QED.  This ignited her passion for photography and she has since completed a Diploma of Photo Imaging at TAFE Western, Dubbo.
